During the third quarter of 2024, the top News and Magazines applications in El Salvador exhibited varied performance metrics as per data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at their trends.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar had a consistent trajectory in weekly downloads, peaking at around 539 by mid-August. The app's weekly active users saw a slight overall increase, starting at approximately 11K and rising to nearly 12.5K by the end of September.

For the Way2News Daily News App, there was a noticeable decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 373 at the beginning of July to just under 100 by the end of September. Despite this, weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with a recovery to around 37.5K.

Dailyhunt Xpresso News Cricket showed an upward trend in downloads, reaching a high of 299 in late September. The active user base experienced a modest increase, peaking at about 34K mid-quarter before stabilizing around 31.7K by the end of September.

The performance of Shuru:Public News & Local News was relatively stable in terms of downloads, with minor fluctuations around the 150-200 range, and a slight decline towards the end of the quarter. Active users increased slightly, reaching a maximum of approximately 4.3K in early September.

Finally, Google News - Daily Headlines experienced a gradual decline in downloads, dropping from 253 in early July to 160 by the end of September. However, its active user base remained relatively steady, with some fluctuations, ending at about 4.8K.
